There are loads of ways you can help Waltham Forest Disability Resource Centre.
How about doing a bit of fundraising for us?
You don’t have to train for 6 month and run a marathon to make a difference.
We have put together a few ideas for you, but of course any way you wish to help will be fantastic.
We have teamed up with local giving to make it as easy as possible for you to support our work. So there is no more need for you to walk around chasing friends and family for their sponsorship. Do it online, this way you can quickly connect to all your friends via Facebook and Twitter to maximise your donations.

If you would like any help with your fundraising efforts please do get in touch and we will do all we can to help.
Fed up of the same old birthday presents? Always told that you’re the hardest person in the world to buy a present for? Save your friends and family hours of traipsing around the shops
How about giving a little to WFDRC?
You can donate your birthday to WFDRC by setting up a fundraising page and passing the page URL to your friends and family via Facebook, Twitter and email to ask for a small donation to WFDRC instead of a pair of socks or a bottle of perfume.
By giving up your day you could help fund a days class for our users.
Think you know your onions?
Put your chef’s whites on and throw a dinner party. Once all your guests have enjoyed your meal get out your laptop/tablet and get them to donate what they thought your delicious food was worth.
Want your big day to make someone else’s?
Forget the toaster- ask for a donation to WFDRC instead and make a real difference.
Just set up a fundraising page and pop the link to it on your invitations and help us keep our centre open.
New Year Resolutions
Need help giving up chocolate, beer/wine or cigarettes? Or that extra push to get down the gym this January?
Set up a fundraising page and ask your friends and family and ask them for a small donation to WFDRC to give you that little bit extra drive you need to keep up your New Year Resolution.
And the money you raise could help us to continue to run our exercise classes for our users.
Raising money in memory of a loved one.
If you’d like to fundraise in memory of a family member or friend, your donations will be sent directly to WFDRC. You’ll be able to add photos and a story, as well as giving your donor’s the opportunity to leave a message.
