About

What we do

We are a small charity based in Leytonstone, running supported activities for disabled adults in Waltham Forest and neighbouring areas.

Our Centre is a place where disabled people can meet others, keep healthy, be creative, and learn new skills and interests.

Set up in 1988, the Centre provides a timetable of daytime activity sessions and short courses for disabled adults, e.g. Zumba, Table Tennis, Women’s Exercise, Needlecrafts, Fine Art, various crafts and a Community Choir. People enroll for activities of their choosing —whether it’s once a week, several days a week or just now and again.

We also hold regular social evenings and a fortnightly Saturday Stitching Club that are open to both disabled and non-disabled people.
